Upcoming at 51 Main (Sept. 27-29)

Karen Krajacic with Jon Rose, Thursday, September 27, 8 – 10pm

Multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter Karen Krajacic has over a decade of touring and performing experience under her belt with the harmonizing duo Folk By Association, as well as her recent collaborations with several VT musicians. She will be joined by lead guitarist Jon Rose on both original songs and eclectic covers from folk, rock, americana, and more.

Sarah Blacker, Friday, September 28, 9pm – 12am

Sarah Blacker’s music is a unique blend of acoustic rock, folk, and jazz with stand-out vocals and timeless songwriting with a quirky twist that helps to set her apart from other female singer/songwriters. Blacker has shared the stage with the likes of Sara Bareilles, Jason Isbell, the Wood Brothers, Carbon Leaf, Lucy Kaplansky and more. She accompanies herself on the guitar, ukulele and mandolin, and her unique voice and style reminds listeners of Feist, Regina Spektor, and Joni Mitchell.

Alba’s Edge, Saturday, September 29, 9pm – 12am

Scottish music with a heavy dose of Latin, Funk and Jazz. Called “a sweet hybrid” in the Huffington Post and “a lively best of both worlds” by World Music Central, Alba’s Edge draws on influences from jazz, funk and the music of Cuba and Brazil to infuse traditional Scottish melodies with new ideas without losing their essentially Scottish spirit. Their unique approach has earned praise from Jazz critics and World Music critics alike and appeals to an eclectic audience.
