The Raw Men Empire

The Raw Men Empire is an acclaimed indie folk band based in Israel. Jokingly referring to their style as “Pop Dylan”, The Raw Men Empire has been compared to the likes of Devendra Banhart and Joanna Newsom, as well as anti-folk artist Jeffrey Lewis. Their live shows are always a happy and kicking event. Although they are mainly acoustic, they always manage to create a rocking experience thanks to their highly original arrangements and unique interaction with the audience.

Eight 02 is a post-Bop contemporary jazz fusion group with a particular knack for improvisational risk-taking. Eight 02 is a collaboration between founding members of Picture This and current members of critically acclaimed Kilimanjaro. Their sound has been described as a mix of contemporary jazz with a decidedly fresh fusion flavor.
The Justin Perdue Quartet

The Justin Perdue Quartet explores the interplay of guitarist Justin Perdue’s modal jazz flights with the virtuosity of pianist Ray Paczkowski – all over the grooves of bassist Jeremy Harlos and drummer Daniel Scharstein. This adventurous band of seasoned jazzmen delves into everything from ballads and blues to modal jazz and funky soul as they push the envelope of improvisation with their unique repertoire of original compositions and post-bop standards.

German guitar whiz—and half of jazz/pop duo Meoneo—Werner Krotz-Vogel will be joined by several local musicians, including long-time friend and collaborator Daniel Scharstein, to perform an unusual mix of tunes, ranging from acoustic guitar duets to funky jazz, fusion, and Latin.
