Barika
Friday, December 14│9pm – 12am

From Burlington, VT, Barika is deep groove music, inspired by the sounds from the Wassoulou region of Mali. A mesmerizing blend of highly danceable poly rhythmic grooves mixed with ethereal dub-scape, the ensemble features Caleb Bronze (drums), Rob Morse (bass), Andric Severence (keyboards), Craig Myers (Kamel N’goni), Dave Purcell (Trumpet) and Deva Racusin (Tenor Sax).

Taylor Smith
Saturday, December 15│9pm – 11pm

When he’s not performing as a member of Burlington-based acts The Peasant Dramatic and Dr. Ruckus, Middlebury College alumnus Taylor Smith goes it alone with his eponymous six-string, dealing in impassioned folk and blues tunes which arc from tales of heartbreak and longing into, often, the philosophical and vision-like. With “raspy vocals and a flair for vivid imagery and storytelling,” this is music that you’ll find woven into your thoughts long after you stop listening.

Blues Jam

Ray is also the touring and recording keyboard player for Dave Matthews and Friends.
