The Justin Perdue Quartet
Thursday, November 8 │ 8 – 10pm

The Justin Perdue Quartet explores the interplay of guitarist Justin Perdue’s modal jazz flights with the virtuosity of pianist Ray Paczkowski – all over the grooves of bassist Jeremy Harlos and drummer Daniel Scharstein. This adventurous band of seasoned jazzmen delves into everything from ballads and blues to modal jazz and funky soul as they push the envelope of improvisation with their unique repertoire of original compositions and post-bop standards.

Alyssa Yeager

Saturday, November 10 │ 5:30 – 7:30pm

German guitar whiz—and half of jazz/pop duo Meoneo—Werner Krotz-Vogel will be joined by several local musicians, including long-time friend and collaborator Daniel Scharstein, to perform an unusual mix of tunes, ranging from acoustic guitar duets to funky jazz, fusion, and Latin.

Diallo House Quartet
Saturday, November 10│9pm – 12am

Diallo House Quartet hails from New York. These musical, spiritual and philosophical brothers have honed their unique talents to bring the world a new spectrum of lyrical, rhythmic, and original jazz compositions that are consistently timeless. “Diallo House lays down deep, heavy lines grounded in a foundation of intricate, modern jazz-funk. He also shows off some beautiful compositional touches with tunes like “Atiba Blue,” a slow burning piece of soul-jazz with a sexy R&B groove.” –Warren Allen, All About Jazz
